About Me:
As a highly
motivated self-starter, I will work independently or as part
of a team in support of the company's goals and to help it
achieve its mission objectives. I've 12 year
experience in the offshore exploration industry and have
been in the maintenance/repair field for a total of 28 years
with a total “at sea” time of 23 years. I’m ready to take on
new challenges with enthusiasm and energy. My personal
philosophy and ethic are to combine today’s “New World
Technology” with the “Old World Craftsmanship” that I have
been taught as an apprentice. I feel that this is the way to
achieve the very best product possible in every
endeavor
I carry a current US Passport and have
worked internationally for the past ten years. I enjoy meeting
and working with people from all backgrounds and nationalities
and feel that this develops a more diversified, challenging
and rewarding employment experience.
My primary asset that I
can utilize years of experience to resolve difficulties, and
approach complex issues or situations in a logical, methodical
manner. I can perform well in difficult environments and in
situations where client’s concerns must be handled ably and in
a professional manner. I am well experienced in several
disciplines including electronic/electrical,
electrical/mechanical, drilling systems controls, vessel
management systems, mechanical and hydraulic.

Significant Achievements
include:
• Installation and commissioning electrical
supervisor in China for a major manufacturer of offshore
drilling equipment for three jackups drilling rigs and one
high specification semisubmersible drilling rig.
• Team Leader during for rig commissioning project in
China at three locations for three teams. This project
comprised of the construction and commissioning of 71 complete
and partial land rigs in a 24 month period for delivery to US
and other international locations.
• Oversaw the
fabrication, installation, and commissioning of the
Development Driller I & II HYDRIL BOP Control
System.
• Was involved in the Development Driller I and II
project for 2 ½ years, involving myself in all aspects of
electrical installation, inspections, testing and
commissioning.
• Was instrumental in raising the level of
reliability of GlobalSantaFe Jackup Rig 136 so that it could
fulfill its contract obligation before entering the yard for
major overhaul.
• Worked on the construction, commissioning, sea
trials, and first year of operation of the Deepwater Nautilus
project.
• Trained several inexperienced “new hires” in the
necessary skills required for an Offshore Electronic
Technician and Rig Electrician on a “high specification”
vessel.
• While with Helmerich &Payne, I worked with
Royal Dutch Shell personnel in the construction and
commissioning of modules for the TLP as well as the
construction, commissioning and integration of the H&P
drilling package for the same project. We achieved ZERO down
time in the first eighteens months of
operation.
